Glasnow was dealing with back spasms since May, but could return to a starting role with the Dodgers during the team's next road series against the Atlanta Braves.
In
the first start of his rehab assignment, Glasnow threw two scoreless innings for the Dodgers' Class-A affiliate, the Ontario Tower Buzzers, on Aug. 4.
“Just trying to go and compete to win another ring,” Glasnow told the Tower Buzzers in a video clip about what he looks forward to most about his return to the Dodgers. “Just getting back and having a few starts before the postseason, then getting into that craziness is always super exciting.”

What does Tyler Glasnow’s return mean for Dodgers?
With the return of Glasnow, Justin Wrobleski might be coming out of the bullpen during the postseason. The Dodgers placed Wrobleski on the injured list due to forearm inflammation on Sunday, Aug. 16.
The state of the Dodgers bullpen has led to some concern about the legitimacy of a potential World Series three-peat.
Relief pitcher Edwin DĂaz struggled after making a recent return from the injury list and was placed back on the IL due to neck inflammation earlier this week.
