Taylor Swift has once again switched up her "Style."
Following two music milestones, the "Fate of Ophelia" singer, 36, debuted a new hairstyle shared on her record label Universal Music Group's Instagram
page Friday, Oct. 2.
The 14-time Grammy winner's dirty blonde hair appears slightly shorter in the new snapshot than how she sported it at the MTV Video Music Awards Sept. 27. The celebratory post shows her styled with loose curls and wearing a maroon sweater, black belt and khaki trousers.
The post congratulated Swift on two new charting accomplishments: Scoring her fifth "official chart double" with her latest single, "Patient Zero," and the newly released deluxe project "The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore," which both topped the U.K. charts simultaneously, according to Universal Music Group.
She also remains the only artist to have three No. 1 singles this year.
Fans applauded the new records and the look, with one fan commenting, "Her hair and this fit omg."
Another user found the look nostalgic and reminiscent of some of her previous albums, writing that her "hair reminds me of the '1989' era. Her outfit reminds me of 'Midnights' & 'Evermore' era. Love it."
At the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 27, Swift accepted the inaugural Artist Director Honors award and became the most decorated artist in the show's history, with 33 wins.
Fans know she is no stranger to breaking records as she remains the artist to win album of the year at the Grammys four times and the only artist to occupy all top 10 spots in the Billboard Top 100 in a single week, a feat she accomplished twice.
Taylor Swift revealed shoulder-length cut in August
Swift's hair is in its experimenting era.
On Aug. 12, she was spotted sporting a shoulder-length cut with sweeping bangs during an outing in London, nearly two months after she married NFL star Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.
In photos obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Swift was seen leaving the private members' club Annabel's when the hairdo was captured. She wore a floral-printed lilac minidress by Delphine, strappy high heels and a sparkly handbag.
Swift has previously discussed the evolution of her hair texture, revealing that her hair was naturally curly.
"From birth, I had the curliest hair and now it is straight," she told Elle in 2019. "It’s the straight hair I wished for every day in junior high. But just as I was coming to terms with loving my curls, they’ve left me. Please pray for their safe return."
