Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) remains on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, and he must miss at least one more game before he is eligible to play. However, he is eligible to return to practice, opening a 21-day window where he could practice without counting toward the 53-man roster limit.
Head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday, Sept. 28, that a decision has not yet been made, but it is possible Charbonnet is able to return to practice this week.
"We're still working through that process, I'm sure we'll have an answer by sometime (Tuesday) on whether or not he'll start practicing this week," Macdonald said. "It's not out of the question yet, we just haven't had an update."

Why it
Matters: The run game struggled badly in Sunday's game in Washington, totaling just 44 yards on 18 carries, good for 2.4 yards per attempt. Rookie Jadarian Price had five runs for just 15 yards, while Emanuel Wilson managed nines for only 14 yards. Nobody has impressed while Charbonnet has been sidelined, so when he is able to return, he'll likely have a rather sizable role in the offense.
