There's only one right way to play with a glass bottle: spin it.
A litter of foster tuxedo kittens in Florida was caught doing just that when they turned a glass bottle they found into an impromptu toy, their foster owner, Amber Allen, told USA TODAY on Sept. 16.
Allen said she couldn't believe what she was seeing when the 3-month-old kittens, Batman, Looney, Trouble, Charcoal and Smokey, gathered around the bottle and began spinning it with their paws at her Panama City home on Sept. 7.
"My reaction was unbelievable, but in a funny way," Allen said.
Video footage shows five of the kittens sitting around the bottle, two of them taking turns batting it, while a sixth watches from a short
distance away.
Allen said the kittens appeared to think the bottle was just another toy. The game lasted only about 30 seconds before they lost interest and moved on.
While Allen is currently fostering all six kittens, she plans to keep only two of them: Smokey and Gemini.
"There is a total of six kittens, and I just got mama cat fixed and the other four spayed," Allen said.
