The "Dancing with the Stars" Season 35 premiere has arrived with an all-new cast and two nights of competition as the race to the Mirrorball Trophy begins.
Night one airs Tuesday, Sept. 15, and will see only the male stars perform, while their female counterparts will take on the ballroom on Wednesday, Sept. 16 for night two – something fans of the show haven't seen since early seasons. Each dance must be performed to a No. 1 song from the year they were born.
This year features a bigger group of 16 celebrity contestants, some of whom are paired with newbies making their debut as pros and another fan-favorite returning after a five-year hiatus. There will also be a double elimination at the end of each night, adding an extra layer of pressure
right off the bat.

What time does the 'DWTS' premiere start?
05:46 PM ET, September 15 2026, Liza Esquibias"Dancing with the Stars" airs live on ABC and Disney+ and streams the next day on Hulu. The two-night premiere is taking place with two-hour episodes on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 8-10 p.m. ET.
Throughout each episode, fans can vote up to 10 times per couple either online or by texting the celebrity's first name to 21523 (standard text rates apply). Voting opens when the show begins at 8 p.m. ET and closes after the last dance of the evening.
At the end of the night, the viewer votes will be combined with the judges' scores to determine who is in jeopardy of elimination.
