Princess Kate reached for another heirloom accessory that once belonged to Princess Diana during the royal family's latest state banquet.
As she, her husband Prince William, King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted the Sultan of Oman during his state visit at Windsor Castle the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Princess of Wales donned the striking Queen Mary's Lover's Knot Tiara.
The tiara, a creation by former Crown Jeweler Garrard & Co. that was reportedly commissioned by Queen Mary in the early 1900s, was passed down to the late Queen Elizabeth II then became an oft-worn piece by Princess Diana.
It has also become a staple for Kate, who has worn the tiara multiple times since 2015, mostly for state occasions.

The banquet closes out the first
day of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq's three-day official visit, which was requested by the British government.
So far, his trip has featured a ceremonial procession through the town toward Windsor Castle, where the British royal family welcomed the sultan earlier in the day. While greeting Oman's ruler, Kate wore a long green Alexander McQueen coat and a hat that featured an elegant bow detail.
She also paid homage to her late mother-in-law by affixing Princess Diana's Queen Alexandra Three Feathers Brooch to her coat. Diana was reportedly given the stunning piece when she married then-Prince Charles in 1981.
During his stay, which marks the first state visit by a sultan of Oman to the U.K. in more than four decades, the sultan is also reportedly scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
