San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 25 of 34 passes for 205 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in a Week 1 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Purdy added 29 yards on five carries.

Why It Matters: After some dicey moments early on, Purdy locked in, moving the ball at will on the Rams and spreading the ball around to eight different receivers. When he led the team on a 99-yard touchdown drive, the game was essentially over. About the only negative to come out of the game was the injury to De'Zhaun Stribling (ankle), who had to be taken to the locker room on a cart. Still, it was a big performance from Purdy, whose 2025 was marred by injuries. He looks playable as a low-end QB1 with some upside.
