Selma Blair was arrested following an alleged violent incident on a Delta Air Lines flight over the weekend.
The actress, 54, allegedly attempted to open the aircraft door in the middle of the flight, which was headed to John F. Kennedy International Airport Sunday, Oct. 11, the New York Port Authority told TMZ.
She also allegedly punched a flight attendant and bit another, and one was taken to the hospital for their injuries. TMZ reported Blair was arrested and taken to the hospital for evaluation, where she remained as of the afternoon on Monday, Oct. 12.

A representative for Blair told TMZ in a statement, "Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently
in stable condition."
The FBI is investigating the incident.
