Much of the crew of the "H3 Podcast" threw their support to Hila Klein after she accused her husband and cohost Ethan Klein of having a months-long affair with an unnamed woman
In an early morning Instagram post on Friday, Oct. 23, Hila Klein wrote that she is "living in a nightmare," and that the podcast is being put on an "indefinite hiatus." "I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies," the statement reads.
The crew put out a statement saying that they are "shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn about Ethan's ongoing affair" and shared that they "stand with Hila." They also wrote, "As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. We don't yet know
what that means for the future. There's a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you."
USA TODAY has reached out to a representative for Ethan Klein but has not heard back.
AB Ayad, an associate producer and researcher for the show, shared a statement on X expressing his disappointment with the situation and explicitly supporting Hila.
"It makes me sad seeing how many fans wish this was all just a skit. Trust me, I wish it was too," the post reads. "I stuck with the podcast through thick and thin because when Lena and I moved out here, we genuinely felt like we had won the lottery. We had landed our dream jobs, and we couldn’t have been more grateful," referring to Lena Ayad, AB's wife.
"Now, after years of having our names dragged through the mud, we’re left not knowing what the future holds. And with Lena pregnant and a baby on the way, that uncertainty is scarier than ever." In a reply to his initial post, Ayad said, "I’m not trying to make this about me. Hila is the victim in this situation, and I want to make that very clear."

He goes on to say in the post, "That being said, I don’t feel it’s my place to speak on her behalf or share anything that she hasn’t already shared herself. She has my full support through all of this. I can only speak about my own involvement and how this situation has affected me personally."
Other members of the H3H3 production team shared Hila and the crew's post to their Instagram stories, making their support known, including Lena Ayad; Harley Morenstein and Kate Gorton, "H3 After Dark" co-hosts; Zach Louis, the sound engineer; Love, the social media manager and video editor; Nate Curiel, the camera operator; Tom Ward, the sponsorship coordinator (and he added, "Love u @kleinhila" to the Instagram story post); and David Valdes, the "H3 After Dark" producer and camera operator.
"The betrayal I feel is immeasurable," Hila Klein wrote in her post. "The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business. My only family on this side of the world. How do I even begin to make sense of this?" Hila states that the two will be separating and co-parenting their children.
