Defending Premier League champion Arsenal welcomes Hull City to the Emirates on Saturday, Nov. 7 and is a massive favorite to extend its four-match league winning streak.
Arsenal sits atop the the league table, leading Manchester City by three points. A win at home over a middling Hull City team seems inevitable, but how the Gunners reach that result is what bettors will be asking themselves. Let's try and solve that equation.
According to several top sports books, the Gunners are around -600 on the money line to defeat the Tigers as of Friday, Nov. 6.
Arsenal vs. Hull City game odds
Even the most passionate Hull City supporter would probably think twice about backing the Tigers at long odds. A draw seems quite unlikely as well. Arsenal's money line is probably best used as a parlay
piece at best.
Where the value lies could be in the spread, where the Gunners are sitting at -2.5 for plus-money.
Arsenal vs. Hull City best bet
If you're not confident in Arsenal being able to win by three or more goals, the best line to take could be for Mikel Arteta's side to win via a clean sheet. The Gunners have only conceded five goals all season, by far the best defensive record in the Premier League. Couple that with Hull's mediocre scoring record of 11 goals in nine matches played and Arsenal playing at home, this seems like the safest route to go. You can find this line at around -150 odds on more sports books.
Arsenal vs. Hull City best player prop pick
Arsenal should dominate this match and probably score at least a few goals. If that happens, focusing in on its attackers to produce is the smart angle. While odds for any Kai Havertz goal or assist are not great, the player who has reasonable odds if you're looking for a straight bet or even a parlay piece is Martin Ødegaard. The attacking midfielder is just under even money to get a goal or assist. That's the line we suggest as he could easily find the back of the net himself or create one from a multitude of different scenarios.
