It's been a rough week for Battle Ground Academy (TN) senior quarterback Bo Bryan but on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 20, he received some news that likely lifted his spirits.
The son of country music star Luke Bryan, Bo was injured last Friday on BGA's opening drive against Pope John Paul II, ultimately suffering a broken collarbone.
He had surgery on Monday and maintains hope that a long postseason run for the Wildcats could give him one more shot to play during his senior season.Back home resting on Tuesday, Bo received a call from Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and learned that he had received an offer from the Bulldogs.
Surely Luke Bryan was excited by the news as he’s never been shy about his fandom of the Georgia Bulldogs.

A 6-foot-1, 195-pounder, Bo is ranked by 247Sports as a three-star prospect and the No. 143 quarterback prospect in the 2027 class.
The offer from Georgia is his first Power Four offer. He also holds offers from Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, North Alabama and UT Martin.
Despite just now getting an offer from Georgia, Bo has visited Athens multiple times in the last year. He visited lasted October, went back for an unofficial visit back in April and was back on campus on Sept. 26 to see the Bulldogs beat Oklahoma 41-13.
The second trip to Athens this year came a day after he led BGA to a 41-36 win over Franklin Road Academy (TN), passing for a career-high 409 yards and six touchdowns.
Prior to the injury, Bo appeared to be one of the favorite's in Tennessee's Division II-AA Mr. Football race in just his first year as a starter. He had completed 74% of his passes for 2,006 yards and 30 touchdowns to just three interceptions.
A week after passing for a career-high in yards and touchdowns against FRA, Bo set a new career-high in touchdown passes with seven in the Wildcats' 56-7 win over Davidson Academy (TN).
According to 247Sports, Georgia's class of 24 commitments ranks No. 9 nationally and is headlined by five-star McKeesport (GA) running back Kemon Spell and top-40 East Lincoln (NC) tight end prospect Jaxon Dollar.
The Bulldogs also landed a commitment from Bo's BGA teammate, 2028 four-star offensive lineman Koehn Dial, Tuesday afternoon.
