"Saturday Night Live" has a real treat in store.
After a rather memorable Halloween episode that saw the the return of celebrated characters David S. Pumpkins (Tom Hanks) and Drunk Uncle (Bobby Moynihan), what follows will be nothing short of historic.
Stepping up to the plate this week is comedian and viral social media star Druski, the first internet personality to serve as host in "SNL" history. "GET YA POPCORN READY," he wrote in an Oct. 22 post.
Best known for his ultra-viral audition YouTube show "Coulda Been Records," Druski's claim to fame began in the late 2010s with online sketches that mocked niche, everyday scenarios.
Recently, his extreme makeup transformations, from cosplaying as white man for a NASCAR-themed skit to poking fun at how
conservative women behave in public, have captured the attention of millions, including politicians.
Earlier this year, became the youngest person ever to host the BET Awards. "Mega Church Pastors LOVE Money," one of Druski's most over-the-top parodies to date, was turned into a official scripted comedy series, which premieres Dec. 1 on Netflix.
Accompanying Druski for his "SNL" debut is returning musical guest "The Strokes." The indie rock band have appeared on the late-night comedy showcase four times since January 2002, with the Nov. 7 show marking the rocker's fifth performance.
After hitting the stage, The Strokes are headed to Latin America for a series of shows in Lima, Mexico City and Buenos Aires among others. The band's latest album Reality Awaits was released in late July.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of tonight's show, including how to tune in.
