Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell was carted off from Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Campbell went down after making a tackle against Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson in the fourth quarter.
He remained down on the field as training staff and medical personnel surrounded him and the cart came out. Campbell was loaded onto a backboard before the cart took him off.
Lions teammates took a knee and looked concerned as he was attended to. Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was in tears while the game was paused.
A fourth-year veteran, Campbell broke out in 2025 when he was selected to his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro team.
Fellow Lions linebacker Jimmy Rolder was also injured on the play.
Defensive end D.J. Wonnum and safety Brian Branch were
ruled out earlier in the game after their helmets collided during an attempted tackle.
Campbell had three tackles in the game before exiting. Entering the week, he had a team-high 54 tackles on the season.
