Australian boxer Skye Nicolson has signed with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), further expanding the company’s growing lineup of women’s boxing stars.
Turning professional in 2021, Nicolson holds a record of 16 wins and 1 loss, including three knockouts. She captured the WBC featherweight title in 2024 and successfully defended her title twice before a split-decision loss to Tiara Brown in 2025.
After losing the WBC featherweight title, Nicolson moved to the junior featherweight division, where she won four consecutive bouts and claimed the WBC world title at 122 pounds.
Nicolson is set to make her MVP debut on Aug. 29, facing two-division world champion Miya Yoshideo to defend the WBC Super Bantamweight title on the undercard of the Mikaela
Mayer-Cantelle Cameron event in Birmingham, England.
This fight marks a first for MVP, as the two-weight champion becomes the first athlete to compete under the newly formed partnership between MVP and Matchroom Boxing, a long-term collaboration to grow women's boxing.
"Skye is one of the most recognizable athletes in women's boxing today," MVP co-founders Paul and Nakisa Bidarian said, according to ESPN. "As a two-division world champion, Commonwealth Games gold medalist, Olympian, and one of Australia's biggest stars, she represents the caliber of athlete we're building MVP around."
