"Bachelor in Paradise" alum Joe Amabile is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a brain tumor.
Amabile, 40, was released from a New York hospital on Aug. 9 after having brain surgery days earlier, his wife, fellow former "Bachelor in Paradise" star Serena Pitt, said on Instagram.
"They got it all!" Amabile wrote in his own Instagram post on Aug. 6 after the surgery.

In July, Amabile revealed that doctors found a "blueberry-sized" lesion on his brain, which looked to be a brain tumor known as a glioma, after an MRI. He said he would undergo a brain surgery known as a craniotomy to get the tumor removed and tested.
"I think it's one of those things where you're like, 'Oh, something like this never happens to me.' And here I am," he said
in an Instagram video.
Amabile first appeared on "The Bachelorette" in 2018, where he gained the nickname "Grocery Store Joe" because he owned a grocery store at the time.
He later starred on the spin-off "Bachelor in Paradise," where he met and got engaged to Pitt, who originally appeared on "The Bachelor" in 2021. The pair married in 2022.
