CHICAGO
– Caleb Williams went down and stayed down.
As the Chicago Bears quarterback went for the end zone in the fourth quarter of a 6-3 game against the Minnesota Vikings, Williams went to the ground and had to be carried off the field.
Replays showed Williams grabbing at something in his lower body before going to the ground. He could not put weight on his right leg.
Williams was loaded from the injury tent onto a cart and covered his face with a towel. The cart departed for the locker room.
