New England Patriots QB Drake Maye completed 23 of 33 passes for 178 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in a Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Maye also ran seven times for 47 yards.

Why It Matters: After playing reasonably well early, Maye fell apart in the second half. Granted, he was missing A.J. Brown (ankle), who departed with an ankle injury, and Romeo Doubs had a critical drop, but Maye still threw some ill-advised passes. His interception on the final drive with the team well within field-goal range sealed the loss. It's obviously still very early, and the Seahawks have a stout defense, but there were some concerning moments, which included underthrowing Brown on what should have been a walk-in touchdown. The
third-year pro will have ample time to reflect on this one before facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. Despite a shaky outing, Maye remains playable as a QB1.
