Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (foot) had a walking boot on his left foot in the locker room after the Week 1 game against the Chicago Bears.
"Just rolled my ankle a little bit," Coker said Monday, Sept. 14.
Coker said the injury occurred in the first quarter of his gigantic performance against the Bears, which saw him posted a career-high 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He added that the boot was precautionary, and he isn't expected to miss any time.

Why it Matters: Coker had a fantastic open to the 2026 season, and if he wasn't rostered in fantasy football for Week 1, he will be one of the hottest adds off of the waiver wire this week. He could be a solid low-end WR2 or flex fantasy option in leagues
of 12 or more teams if he continues to jell with Bryce Young remotely as well as he did in the opener.
