For a ninth consecutive week, we've got a pro football game on a Thursday night. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Week 9's edition of "Thursday Night Football" kicks off the last week of the regular season's first half. It also represents the midway point of the "Thursday Night Football" schedule in 2026 – a schedule that includes 16 total games.
When the Jacksonville Jaguars face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Nov. 5, it will be the eighth edition of the official "Thursday Night Football" broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.
Why isn't it the ninth edition in Week 9? The Week 1 game in Australia taking place on a Thursday – and broadcast by Netflix – meant that Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the Amazon Prime crew will only be on the call for
an eighth time as Week 9 gets underway.
Here's what to know about this week's matchup and NFL schedule:

Is there a Thursday Night Football game tonight?
Yes, there is a "Thursday Night Football" game on Nov. 5.
The Baltimore Ravens host the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Week 9 edition of "Thursday Night Football." The two AFC teams last met in December of 2023, and the Ravens won that clash in Jacksonville.
The two teams have very different trajectories entering their Week 9 clash. The Jaguars are coming off a dominant divisional win against the Indianapolis Colts last week, featuring three touchdown throws from quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Ravens not only lost their matchup with the Buffalo Bills in Week 8, but they also lost both their starting and backup quarterbacks to injuries. Third-stringer and undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano will make his first career start on Nov. 5.
This week's "TNF" game is scheduled to kick off at its usual 8:15 p.m. ET and will air nationally on Amazon Prime Video. Local fans for each team will be able to watch the game on a local cable network.
