And then there was one.
The NFL preseason finale has finally arrived as the Tennessee Titans host the Chicago Bears to put a bow on the 2026 exhibition games. In other words, the next game counts for real.
Neither team has found its footing through two preseason games. The Titans starters were dominated by the Seattle Seahawks backups in Week 2, which came on the heels of a rough performance for Cam Ward in Week 1. Penalties have been an issue for Robert Saleh's new team, but nothing has been more concerning than Ward so far.
The numbers might look better in the box score, however, there have been no signs of a second-year breakout coming from the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Whether that's due to learning a new offense with Brian Daboll or not
remains to be seen.
On the flip side, the Bears saw minimal work from Caleb Williams in the second preseason game. For the most part, Ben Johnson seems to be focused on just going through the motions until the real Week 1 rolls around.
Here's what to know about the final game of the NFL preseason.
