The 2026 PGA Tour season all comes down to one last round.
Viktor Hovland sizzled down the strech on Saturday, recording birdies on four of his last six holes, to take a one-stroke lead into the final 18 holes of the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
Hovland begins the final round on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 15 under par, and will be paired with Ryan Gerard (-14) in the last group. Leading a quartet of golfers three strokes back at 12 under is the ever-present Scottie Scheffler. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy vaulted into contention with Saturday's best round − a 7-under 63 − to move to minus 10 and a tie for seventh.
It should make for a dramatic finish.
