"Below Deck Mediterranean" star Nathan Gallagher has a warrant out for his arrest.
The 27-year-old was convicted on charges of assault and choking on Tuesday, Sept. 1, after failing to appear for his hearing in an Australian court, according to multiple outlets, including The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail and the local News24.
The reality star was first arrested in December following an alleged domestic violence incident at a Sydney apartment complex, New South Wales police confirmed to USA TODAY. He was later released on bail and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally chok[ing a] person without consent and common assault.
Burwood judge Janine Lacy attributed her decision to issue the warrant and convict Gallagher to "the
serious nature of the offenses," as well as records revealing that Gallagher had left the country and is "currently overseas," per the Sydney Morning Herald.
USA TODAY reached out to representatives for "Below Deck Mediterranean" for comment.

Nathan Gallagher allegedly assaulted ex Gael Cameron
While the alleged victim of the domestic incident was not identified, court records show Gallagher is also named in an Apprehended Violence Application filed on behalf of Gael Cameron, his former girlfriend and fellow "Below Deck" cast member, with whom he shares 1-year-old son Kayden.
According to the New South Wales local court's official website, an individual is eligible for an Apprehended Violence Order if they are experiencing or being threatened with physical or sexual violence, or are "being harassed, intimidated, or stalked," among other reasons.
Gallagher and Cameron, 30, were set to go to court in the matter the same day as his missed hearing. The Daily Mail reported Cameron showed up for the proceedings and declined to comment outside the courthouse.
On Aug. 26, Gallagher addressed the situation in a statement to Rolling Stone: "I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened,” adding that “what has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation.”
The exes met on Season 9 of the Bravo series, which filmed in summer 2023, and their on-and-off relationship has been documented on the show in the years since. Cameron is no longer a main cast member, but she has made appearances on the currently airing Season 11, which follows Gallagher's return as bosun as he navigates his new role as a father.
