What is the story about?

There are eight undefeated teams in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll and Georgia leads them all as the new No. 1 team in college football. Georgia was promoted after the Bulldogs won at Alabama combined with the Texas Longhorns' last-second loss to Oklahoma. Now, the Bulldogs are heading back to Sanford Stadium as the top dog when they host unranked Auburn.

I won't pretend to be an expert on ease of schedule, but Georgia has only played two ranked opponents so far this season, including then-ranked No. 21 Oklahoma in Week 4 and No. 7 Alabama in Week 6. The Bulldogs defeated both, 41-13 and 20-17, respectively.

Georgia will face several ranked opponents in the next few weeks, including No. 15 Florida,

No. 11 Ole Miss and No. 16 Missouri. But, first, they will host Auburn in Athens. The Tigers are 3-2, with their losses coming against other ranked teams, Florida and Tennessee. Tickets to see the Tigers face the Bulldogs start at $223.
