Washington Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) returned to practice on Tuesday, according to Ben Standig on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Huddle Up: Croskey-Merritt hasn't been rushed back with his groin injury since the initial reporting of the injury last week. With Croskey-Merritt's return to practice on Tuesday, it looks like he's on track for Week 1. In a muddy Washington backfield that also features free-agent signee Rachaad White and rookie Kaytron Allen, Croskey-Merritt is likely to get the first crack at the early-down work for the Commanders. Consider JCM a nice value in drafts before the double-digit rounds as an RB3 on fantasy rosters.
