The Dallas Mavericks are hoping to have star forward Cooper Flagg available for their game on Monday, Oct. 26 against the Miami Heat.
After missing Saturday's 122-106 home loss to the San Antonio Spurs with a shoulder sprain, Flagg has been upgraded to questionable on the Mavericks latest injury report.
Last season's NBA Rookie of the Year suffered an injury to his left shoulder in a game Friday, Oct. 23 against the Indiana Pacers after a flagrant foul by Pacers guard Aaron Nesmith on a breakaway dunk attempt.
The Mavericks officially designated the injury as left shoulder soreness, though coach Dusty May said Flagg was in "good spirits" after the game.
