The UEFA Champions League draw will be held on Thursday in Monaco, setting all the matchups for the primary phase of Europe's top club competition.
It's the third season with the new Champions League format, with 36 teams in one "league" and each club playing eight matches. The top eight teams advance to the round of 16, while the 9th-24th-placed finishers play a two-legged tie to get into the knockout round proper.
Thursday's draw assigns the four home and away matches for each team, with the stipulation that clubs from the same country can not face each other at this stage of the tournament.
Paris Saint-Germain is going for a three-peat having knocked off Arsenal in last season's final. Other top contenders include Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real
Madrid and Manchester City.
