A convicted murderer is still on the loose on Oct. 27 after authorities said he escaped from a Tennessee prison and stole a truck.
Jacob Allen Morley, 28, slipped away from the Northwest Correctional Complex in Lake County, Tennessee, on Oct. 25, the Tennessee Department of Correction said. Surveillance video showed he "breached the perimeter fence and exited the facility in his TDOC uniform," according to the department.
He was confirmed missing at about 11:30 local time on Oct. 25. Officials haven't said how long he was gone before his absence was discovered.
Morley is considered dangerous and anyone who spots him is urged not to approach him, but to call 911 or 1-800-TBI-FIND, authorities have said.

In an update on Oct. 26, the Tennessee Bureau
of Investigation released more video of what they said was Morley stealing a white 2008 Ford F-350 with "Lindamood Planting Company" on the door at about 1 a.m. that morning in Lake County. The license plate of the truck is 138BBQV and it has an air compressor in its bed, the bureau said. At about 1:18 a.m., the truck was spotted driving by a fire station in nearby Obion County, the Hornbeak Fire Department said.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said the morning of Oct. 27 that it had no new information to share on the search for Morley.
Escaped inmate serving life sentence
Morley was added to the Bureau of Investigation's most wanted list.
He has been serving a life sentence in prison for first-degree murder, aggravated burglary, tampering with evidence, evading arrest and vandalism, the Department of Correction said.
He was convicted in the death of Cody Birchfield, who disappeared in February 2022, according to online records viewed by the USA TODAY Network. Birchfield's body was later found near Morley's house, records show.
Tennessee residents asked for help in search
The Bureau of Investigation announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to Morley's arrest.
Authorities have asked residents near the area of the prison, which is in the far northwestern corner of the state near the Missouri border, to check their doorbell and other security cameras for sightings but were warned not to approach if they see Morley or the stolen truck.
He is described as having brown hair and green eyes, 5-foot-11 and about 240 pounds.
