Fans eager to stream "Toy Story 5" on Disney+ won't have to wait much longer.
Disney has officially announced when the Pixar-produced blockbuster will debut on its streaming service, ending weeks of speculation about when subscribers could watch Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the toy gang embark on their latest adventure.
The announcement comes after the film became one of the year's biggest box office hits, grossing more than $1.1 billion worldwide since its June theatrical debut. While "Toy Story 5" has been available to rent or buy digitally since August, its arrival on Disney+ gives subscribers another way to watch Pixar's latest adventure.

When will 'Toy Story 5' be on Disney+?
"Toy Story 5" will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ on Sept. 23, Disney announced.
The latest entry joins the rest of the "Toy Story" collection on the streaming service, where subscribers can watch all five films. According to Disney, the franchise has been streamed for more than 2 billion hours globally on Disney+.
To coincide with the Disney+ debut, the media and entertainment giant also released a new music video for the piano version of Taylor Swift's original song "I Knew It, I Knew You" featuring footage from the film. The video is available on Disney+, Spotify and Apple Music, and fans can also pre-order the 'Toy Story 5" soundtrack on vinyl and CD ahead of its Sept. 25 release.
Where else can you watch 'Toy Story 5'?
Fans don't have to wait until Sept. 23 to watch "Toy Story 5".
The film became available to rent and purchase digitally on Aug. 18 through services including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play and Fandango at Home.
The movie will also be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Sept. 22. The digital release, which comes in a limited-edition Steelbook, includes deleted scenes, a gag reel and behind-the-scenes featurettes.

Directed by Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton and co-directed by Kenna Harris, "Toy Story 5" reunites Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack as Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie.
The film explores the growing role of technology in children's lives as Bonnie receives Lilypad, a new tablet device with her own ideas about what's best for playtime. As the toys struggle to remain relevant, they must find a way to prove they still have an important place in Bonnie's world.
