It's just about that time of year.
In the midst of flag football's meteoric rise, explosive state sanctioning efforts and escalating media attention, it's finally time to play some football. USA TODAY Sports will have eyes on flag football news and programs across the country, releasing weekly national Super 25 rankings alongside Super 10 rankings for each fall season state.
Some familiar faces top our preseason list, with last year's fall national champ, Central (Phenix City, Ala.), securing the top spot. Many of the classic flag powerhouses are primed for impressive seasons, but also keep an eye out for new entries to the list since the end of last season, including Pope in Georgia and Wasilla in Alaska.

are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland and North Carolina.
