It's a much-needed advantage for a team that has played the most games over the last two years on its way to winning back-to-back championships.
The Dodgers remain the World Series favorites despite not being the top seed in the National League.
Los Angeles has one of the oldest rosters this season, with an average age of 30.7 years old. The Dodgers do appear to be healthy after the return of Ohtani, outfielder Andy Pages and right-handed pitcher Roki Sasaki from the injured list this week.
