The party is on in Lexington, Kentucky − even if it comes at a cost.
Will Stein added another signature moment to his first season at Kentucky, with the Wildcats upsetting Lane Kiffin and No. 10 LSU in overtime, 35-34.
It was a wild game that included missed field goals from Kentucky, but it recovered to force the extra period. The Tigers opened overtime by scoring a touchdown and the Wildcats responded with their own score. However, they went for two points, and just like last week, it worked to perfection with Kenny Minchey running in untouched to seal the victory.
It's the second top-10 win of the season for Kentucky after it took down Texas A&M in Week 3, but that was on the road. This victory was at Kroger Field and came on the last play,
and as a result, the Kentucky fans rushed the field to celebrate the occasion.

Kentucky will be fined for fans rushing field vs. LSU
For storming the field immediately after the win, Kentucky will be fined $500,000 by the SEC.
The conference increased its penalty for field stormings. Previously, there was an escalating fine structure where schools were fined $100,000 for the first offense, $250,000 for the second and then $500,000 for the third and any other subsequent incidents.
"The motivation was 'field rushing is field rushing, the first time or the 18th time,'" SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said on the decision to up the initial fine in May 2025.
With a sea of blue flooding the field after the game, it appears Kentucky fans weren't thinking about the penalty.
