Oprah Winfrey is celebrating 30 years of her Book Club, and to mark the occasion, she's revisiting some of the most memorable book recommendations from the past three decades.
Throughout September, Winfrey will spotlight new book selections and old favorites as part of the anniversary celebration.
"They are some of my all-time favorites, not necessarily in the order of my favorites, just 30 of the most spectacular reads in the past 30 years," Winfrey said in an Instagram video announcement.
First up is "The Bluest Eye" by Toni Morrison, the acclaimed author's debut novel, originally published in 1970. It was also Oprah's 35th Book Club pick in April 2000—a title she says she often returns to.
