"Love Is Blind" fans are finally getting answers about Scott "Stew" Stewart and Jacqueline "Jax" Guelli's relationship.
In the latest batch of episodes to hit Netflix on Oct. 21, Jax and Stew met up at a Boston restaurant for the first time since she abruptly left the show.
In case you missed it: the duo got engaged sight unseen in the Season 11 pods before meeting for the first time in person. Their reveal was awkward, Jax claimed Stew looked more like Mitt Romney than a Kennedy, and she ultimately decided to go home without speaking to her then-fiancé about it. Stew was understandably confused and blindsided, asking producers who broke
the news to him, "Are we still engaged? Or did she dump me?"
So, to no one's surprise, when they met up in Boston after the awkward string of events, there was plenty to discuss, including why Jax opted to leave without warning, if she regretted her actions and what this meant for the two moving forward.

By the end of their discussion, Jax and Stew decided moving forward for them ultimately meant giving their relationship another try.
Explaining the decision to USA TODAY, Jax, 31, says, "The spark was definitely [there] in the pods, and then we hit a blip due to me freaking out. When we got back to real life, we had many conversations over the phone, some of them were so much sweeter than I could have ever imagined, and they were in private, and I was blown away by what he had to say to me."
The entrepreneur says Stew's words on the phone and during their in-person meeting made her feel comfortable enough to "give it another shot."
"I was like, Okay, let's do it,'" she adds.

For Stew, he was also open to giving their love another chance, and says he didn't feel any hesitations about putting his trust in Jax again − partly because she took initiative to contact him after leaving the show.
"It was such an unprecedented experience," he says. "Neither of us could prepare for it. And, that night [after she left the show], she reached out to me. It was like, 'I'm so sorry. It has nothing to do with this. There's just so much going on in my head.' She was super sincere about it."
The 32-year-old also says when he finally met up with Jax in person, it felt right. "We got together and picked up right where we left off."

As for the fans online who have speculated that Jax was only into Stew for his lavish lifestyle, he dismisses those theories.
"No, no," he says, "and especially now, having had the benefit of knowing her for some period of time after the show, [it's] not the case at all."
The engineering director chalks up their conversations about travel, money and luxury trips as "both having good fun, joking around, and dreaming, if you will, of building these fantasies," but emphasizes, "We're both more down to earth than we came across."
Though fans will have to wait until the next batch of episodes (or the Season 11 reunion) to find out if Jax and Stew's relationship has progressed or fizzled out, he is clear about one thing: marriage is still in the cards for him.
"When I told my family about [going on] the show, my mom was thrilled, because she was like, 'There's no other way you're getting married,'" Stew explains. "I don't think she meant it in a mean way. It was more of like, 'Listen, you're not a commitment guy. You're all over the place. The only way this is happening is if you fully commit, go to a structured thing for it.'
"Obviously, Mama Stew was wrong," Stew laughs. "But I'm still 100% sold on marriage. If anything, even the brief taste of it that I had, short-lived as it was, it just kind of makes me want to further go all in … it was a good experience. I learned a lot about myself along the way."
