With Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale set to begin Oct. 6, shoppers still have time to sign up for an Amazon Prime membership and start taking advantage of early member-exclusive deals before the event officially kicks off.
Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event runs Oct. 6-7 and will feature millions of discounts across categories including tech, home, beauty, kitchen essentials and holiday gifts. While the biggest offers arrive during the two-day sale, Prime members can already shop a growing list of early deals.
Beyond unlocking Prime Big Deal Days pricing, a Prime membership includes perks that can deliver value all year long, from fast free shipping and grocery savings to streaming benefits like Prime Video, which is home to Thursday Night Football
throughout the NFL season.
For shoppers who haven't signed up for a Prime membership, the days leading up to Prime Big Deal Days may offer the best opportunity to join, browse early discounts and prepare for one of Amazon's biggest shopping events of the fall.
Prime Big Deal Days is reserved for Prime members
As Prime Big Deal Days approaches, the biggest reason to sign up for a Prime membership remains straightforward: nearly all of the event's headline deals are reserved for Prime members.
The sale runs Oct. 6-7 and will feature discounts across more than 35 shopping categories. Amazon says shoppers can expect savings on everything from electronics and beauty products to kitchen appliances, home essentials and holiday gifts.
While millions of additional deals will arrive once Prime Big Deal Days officially begins, Amazon has already started rolling out early Prime-exclusive discounts, making now an ideal time to sign up and your last chance to sign up before the event starts.
Get early access to deals throughout the year
Prime Big Deal Days isn't the only shopping event where membership pays off. Prime members receive access to special promotions and limited-time Lightning Deals throughout the year, including major shopping events like the upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday events.
