Beyoncé Knowles-Carter's Cécred hair care line is continuing its expansion, officially entering the international retail market, with products now available in the U.K.
Cécred is now available in 90 Space NK retail stores and on SpaceNK.com through an exclusive partnership with the British beauty retailer. Launched on Sept. 22 in London, the debut marked the largest in Space NK's history, with thousands of fans rushing to buy the brand's products in the U.K. for the first time.
The Grammy-winning singer and her mom, Cécred Vice Chairwoman Tina Knowles, were spotted at the launch events in London, donning all-white looks and interacting with attendees. Cécred had already reached its projected sales for the full first week by 1 p.m. on launch day,
marking a major milestone in the brand’s international expansion.
"We could not be more thrilled with the performance of Cécred, we expected the brand to resonate with our customers, but the demand is truly unprecedented," said Sophie Wayman, Space NK's category director of hair care.
Grace Ray, CEO of Cécred, echoed the importance of this expansion in the U.K., especially, in a press statement.
"The U.K. has been our largest market outside the U.S. since day one," Ray said. "To mark the biggest launch in Space NK’s history is a true testament to the connection we’ve built with our global community."
The U.K. expansion comes just after Cécred announced its new Temple Oud Hair Perfume, turning the brand's signature scent into a dedicated hair fragrance.
Beyoncé first launched Cécred in February 2024 with products for all hair types and textures.Before that, Beyoncé first teased the business venture in May 2023 in an Instagram post about growing up in her mom's hair salon.
"I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls," she wrote. "I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I've always dreamed of carrying on her legacy."
