The U.S. men's national team enters a new era on Saturday, Sept. 26 as it faces Peru in its first match after the 2026 World Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino has named a 28-player roster full of fresh faces, with 13 players on the team entering the international window uncapped.
Pochettino will be able to rotate his squad considerably during the newly expanded FIFA window, which includes four matches for the USMNT.
Though the USMNT boss isn't a fan of playing so many games, he will at least have the chance to evaluate his youth-heavy squad.
Pochettino has plenty of ways he can set up for the opener on Saturday, but he hinted at his pre-match press conference that he was likely to go with a mix of veterans and newcomers.
