ATLANTA ― Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray went back to the locker room at State Farm Arena during the team's WNBA playoff semifinal game against the New York Liberty on Sunday, Oct. 4.
At the 3:59 mark of the first quarter, Gray exited holding her left wrist and hand area. Gray was down on the floor for a few moments before being helped up. Gray was in the locker room for several minutes before returning to the bench at the 9:09 mark of the second quarter.
Gray checked back in at the 8:30 mark of the second quarter with two fingers taped (her ring and pinky) on her left hand. She attempted a field goal but missed it. Once she missed the shot, she immediately took off her tape. Gray was able to draw a foul on the other end. She missed the first
free throw before making the second.
Allisha Gray appears to have dislocated her finger while getting a deflection.
