Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley (toe) suffered what is believed to be a turf toe injury in the Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills, a source said Sunday, Nov. 1.
Huntley was thrust into action when starting quarterback Lamar Jackson (thumb) suffered a broken thumb on his throwing hand after hitting a defender's helmet on the first play of the game. With Huntley also knocked out, the Ravens were forced to use emergency quarterback Joe Fagnano, an undrafted rookie free agent out of UConn.
Jackson has already landed on the reserve/injured list, needing surgery, while Huntley will have an MRI on Monday, Nov. 2, to determine the severity of his injury, and how much time he'll miss.

Why it Matters: What a mess.
The Ravens could be forced to start Fagnano for Week 9 with a short week, playing Thursday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Could we see the return of Joe Flacco in Baltimore? It's possible, but just speculation at this point. Whomever starts in Baltimore right now has very little fantasy appeal behind a shaky offensive line.
