New research shows younger shoppers are reading ingredient labels more closely and turning to organic grocery staples.
As National Organic Month kicks off in September, new research from Dave's Killer Bread suggests organic foods are becoming a bigger priority for American shoppers, especially younger parents who are paying closer attention to ingredient labels and nutritional information.

The survey found that 77% of consumers are aware of the health benefits associated with organic foods, while nearly 7 in 10 Gen Z consumers said it's important to purchase products labeled organic.
Awareness was highest among Gen Z, with 44% saying they're "very aware" of those benefits, compared with 35% of millennials, 25% of Gen X and 15% of baby boomers.
For parents, the shift appears even more pronounced. According to the survey, 70% of Gen Z parents said having children
made them more conscious of ingredients in the foods they purchase, and more than half identified with the "crunchy parent" lifestyle.
That growing focus on what's actually in our food may explain why organic staples from Dave's Killer Bread continue to resonate with shoppers looking for convenient options made without artificial ingredients, artificial preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. Whether you're building better breakfasts, packing lunches or simply trying to add more whole grains to your routine this September, these are some of the brand's most popular products worth adding to your grocery list.
