One of college hockey's most compelling matchups of the season will take place on Friday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 17. Unfortunately, much of the country won't be able to watch.
No. 1 Denver will host No. 2 Michigan in a Frozen Four rematch from last season, with the Wolverines looking to exact some revenge on the team that bounced it from last year's national semifinals in double overtime. Denver has jumped out to a 2-0 start as it defends its national championship, whereas Michigan is 4-0 and looking for its first title since 1998.
The rub? Even with all of this intrigue, the game won't be airing on national television. Instead, fans will need to stream on NCHC.tv, a paid subscription service. Fans in the Denver market will be able to watch
on Altitude Sports.
Michigan is led offensively by 2023 Carolina Hurricanes selection Jayden Perron, who leads the country with seven goals. Jack Ivanokovic, meanwhile, has posted a .931 save percentage for Michigan with four games between the pipes. Denver allowed three goals in its series against Alaska Anchorage, with Sam Harris and Jake Fisher notching two goals apiece.
