Cher isn't holding a grudge against Michael Douglas after he suggested Glenn Close deserved her 1988 best actress Oscar.
In an Oct. 30 episode of "The Graham Norton Show," the 82-year-old actor aired his grievances over his "Fatal Attraction" costar Glenn Close, who was seated next to him, not winning an Academy Award for her performance in the 1987 thriller.
"She should have won with 'Fatal Attraction,'" Douglas said of Close's lack of Oscar wins before saying "Cher won that year."
Host Graham Norton reacted with "Oh, wow," and Douglas quickly replied "I know, that's what we all said."

The dig seemingly had no strain on how the "Believe" singer sees the "Romancing the Stone" actor. In a four word statement to Entertainment Weekly, a representative
for Cher wrote "Cher adores Michael Douglas."
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives of Cher and Douglas for comment.
Cher won the best actress Oscar for her performance as Loretta Castorini in the romantic comedy "Moonstruck." Along with Close, the category also included Holly Hunter for "Broadcast News," Sally Kirkland for "Anna" and Meryl Streep for "Ironweed."

Michael Douglas says 'Glenn gave one of the greatest performances'
On the "The Graham Norton Show," Norton playfully asked Douglas to "be kind" after the dig at Cher.
"Clayface" star Naomi Ackie, who was also a guest alongside Douglas, Close and "Succession" alum Kieran Culkin, quipped, "The shade, made!"
"Michael, be kind!" Norton playfully chided, as Ackie remarked, "The shade, mate!"
Douglas doubled down on his praise for Close, declaring, "Glenn gave one of the greatest performances of all time."
Close, who has received eight Oscar nominations without a win, is set to receive an honorary Oscar at the 17th Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 15.
"They probably don't want to feel guilty anymore," she quipped.
Douglas, meanwhile, has won two Oscars: best actor for 1987's "Wall Street" and best picture as a producer of 1975's "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."
