The White Sox still have a shot at the American League Central division title if they can overtake the Cleveland Guardians current half-game lead. If the White Sox earn a wild card spot, they will travel to play the winner of the AL West, either the Texas Rangers or Houston Astros. If Chicago earns the No. 2 seed, they'll take on the winner of the No. 3 vs. No. 6 AL wild card series.
