Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding may have been in July, but Tim McGraw is now clarifying whether he performed after months of speculation.
"I didn’t perform at her wedding. That was a rumor," he said in an interview with Esquire released Wednesday, Oct. 28. "The internet’s not always correct."
The "Something Like That" singer, 59, was among hundreds of A-list guests at the star-studded wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York on July 3. Other marquee attendees include Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Hugh Grant, Dakota Johnson, Gigi Hadid, Sabrina Carpenter and Tom Cruise.
McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, both attended the ceremony as "Taylor’s always been close to our family, our girls," he said. The couple has three daughters:
Gracie, 29; Maggie, 28; and Audrey, 24.
"We couldn’t be happier for her to find Travis, who’s a cool guy as well," he told the outlet.
The 14-time Grammy darling, 36, and Super Bowl champion, 37, weren't short on music at the lavish wedding, with performers including major acts from Paul McCartney to Stevie Nicks.
McGraw's attendance comes as Swift's 2006 country song "Tim McGraw," which notably launched her career, turned 20 in June.

Why did Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift choose MSG?
On the Sept. 2 episode of Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, the Kansas City tight end discussed how the buzzy magical night came to be.
He said that the couple wanted a "very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions" that felt private, "and MSG went above and beyond to give us that.
"I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye," Kelce said, with his brother, Jason Kelce, jokingly adding that the MSG staff "kicked us out."
"Well, once the drinks stopped being served, everyone kind of just starts to, you know, mosey out," Travis Kelce said.
During the "New Heights" season premiere, Travis Kelce also gave a shout-out to friend, actor and comedian Adam Sandler for officiating their nuptials.
"He has been just the … best person on this planet," he said. "And for him to be up for getting ordained in the state of New York and marrying me and Taylor in the way he did, in the very, you know, Sandman style and giving us more than we could have ever imagined in that moment, knowing that it was the biggest night of both of our lives. It was absolutely insane, man."
