We are inching closer to the Little League Softball World Series championship.
On Saturday, Aug. 8, the Purple and Orange brackets conclude, deciding who will advance to the title game.
Kentucky takes on
New Jersey in the first matchup of the day at 3 p.m. on ESPN2 in the Orange bracket championship. New Jersey advanced by beating Puerto Rico 4-0 just a day before. Kentucky will be playing with a day of rest after also besting Puerto Rico by a score of 2-0.
Then, North Carolina faces Florida for the Purple championship at 6 p.m. on ESPN. Florida got here with a 5-0 victory over Washington and will be playing back-to-back days. North Carolina previously beat Florida 5-2 to earn a day off.
