Las Vegas is famous for its hospitality industry, which includes world-class dining. From the city's wide variety of vegan food to being home to whatUSA TODAY called Nevada's best restaurant (Esther's Kitchen) for this year, there is no shortage of quality eateries in Las Vegas for every palate.
Recently, OpenTable, the restaurant reservation company, ranked Las Vegas's most-booked restaurants.
Unsurprisingly, the eateries that made the top five most-booked in Las Vegas are on the Strip. Here's a look at which made the list.
Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace
Located at: 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Rating: 4.1 stars out of 5
This eatery is one of the last surviving buffets in Las Vegas and is described by OpenTable as having "succulent presentations of hundreds of uniquely displayed
dishes" that customers can enjoy inside the restaurant's air, water or wood-themed dining rooms.
"Best buffet ever and I’m not even kidding. Every single thing I tasted or ate was amazing. If I could give 10+ stars I definitely would. Thank you to all the cooks and servers tonight, 10 stars to them all. Definitely will be back," said one reviewer who ate there in early September.
In the few negative reviews, people mentioned that some of the food was cold and overpriced.
Hell's Kitchen at Caesars Palace
Located at: 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Rating: 4.6 stars out of 5
This Las Vegas restaurant highlights Gordon Ramsay's signature English dishes, but Ramsay's influence doesn't stop there. OpenTable said Ramsay's "fiery personality and his overall brand ... deliver a unique new restaurant. In order to create the experience, the outlet will focus on the famous Red and Blue kitchens, show experiences, and a prominent bar that begs you to join us for a drink."
Some say that the place is overhyped and overpriced. However, most of the reviews say visiting the restaurant is a positive experience.
"Extensive menu for food as well as drinks. Professionally staffed and everything cooked to perfection. Not a single bad choice," said an OpenTable reviewer on Sept. 9.
Mon Abi Gabi at Paris Las Vegas
Located at: 3655 Las Vegas Blvd South
Rating: 4.7 stars out of 5
OpenTable said Mon Abi Gabi (translated to "my friend Gabi") pairs "quintessential French charm with the electric energy of Las Vegas as you dine under the Eiffel Tower and enjoy unrivaled views of the famous Bellagio Fountains."
Dishes OpenTable highlighted were steak frites, trout almondine, eggs benedict, and grand plateau seafood towers.
"Overall great experience. The food is excellent, the staff is courteous, and the overall experience was amazing," one reviewer said.
While most reviewers were positive, a few said the food is poor quality, and the place is a tourist trap.
Cheri Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas
Located at: 3655 Las Vegas Blvd South
Another Paris-inspired restaurant on the Strip, OpenTable said this rooftop eatery offers steak frites, lobster macaroni and cheese gratinee, baked brie flambé, and crispy firecracker shrimp.
"Chéri Rooftop is your escape from the bustling Strip, located beneath the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. This open-air restaurant evokes a mid-century Parisian garden party, offering stunning views of the Bellagio fountains and the city skyline," OpenTable said.
The very few somewhat negative reviews note that the place can be busy and the service can be slow or disorderly. However, in the same reviews, people noted that it was not like that every time they visited the restaurant.
"Absolutely fabulous brunch! The atmosphere was amazing:)," a positive reviewer recently said.
Alexxa's at Paris Las Vegas
Located at: 3655 Las Vegas Blvd South
Rating: 4.6 stars out of 5
Alexxa’s is a modern, Italian-inspired steakhouse with a menu of seasonal dishes and a robust wine list, according to OpenTable.
"Staying at the Paris Hotel, the receptionist actually recommended Alexxa's since I had my 2 children with me. We got a great table outside overlooking the water show, and the waiter's recommendations were fantastic — I thought they'd recommend the pizza, but their potato and chicken was out of this world! Everyone was incredibly kind, from the greeting to the send-off, and we're incredibly grateful for the service!" one reviewer said.
Of the negative reviews, only a few complained about specific instances of poor service. However, others said the service was good in other positive reviews.
