Garcia (25-2, 20 KO’s) enters the bout as the early favorite after capturing the WBC welterweight belt in February with a unanimous decision over Mario Barris. Garcia, known for his fighting words, didn’t hold back, and he publicly declared his intention to finish Benn early, confidently predicting a knockout within five rounds.
Benn (25-1, 14 KOs) is dropping weight for his return to the 147-pound welterweight division after a four-year absence. The British contender
