Other bar cart essentials to buy
If you’re looking to build up your bar cart or at-home bar, you’re going to need more than just a mixology set. Below are a few of my bar cart essentials.
Alcohol to add to your at-home bar
Since I began writing about cocktails, I’ve unexpectedly built up a huge alcohol collection. While everyone has their own tastes, there are some spirits you need to have at your at-home bar. Below are some of my favorite spirits and ready-to-drink beverages I’ve tried the past few months.
On the Rocks Chocolate Martini
On the Rocks sells some of my favorite ready-to-drink martinis but this chocolate martini is by far my favorite. The chocolate martini combines EFEN Vodka and chocolate liquer to create a sophisticated classic cocktail.

St. Germain

Patron Silver
Patron and Lalo tequila are tied for my favorites, but Patron is one of my go-to tequilas not just because of how easy it goes down but also because of the fun bottle design. Patron silver is the world’s first premium silver tequila made with 100% Blue Weber Agave, yeast, and water.
How to make the Witches Brew, now being served at the Beast & Butterflies at M Social Hotel New York Times Square:
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Patrón Silver blanco tequila
- 1 oz Midori melon liqueur
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
