Noel Clarke was arrested last year
Officials launched the investigation in September 2025 and presented CPS with "a file of evidence," resulting in Clarke's arrest later that month, London’s Metropolitan Police Service revealed in a separate statement last month. The two agencies said they "have worked closely" throughout the process.
"The women connected to these charges continue to receive support from specially trained officers," added Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, whose team is leading the investigation.

"We urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to contact police," Cagney continued. "The information you provide will be dealt with in the utmost sensitivity, and we have trained investigators on hand to support you."
This is not the first time Clarke has faced similar allegations. In 2021, The Guardian published am exposé on more than 20 women who accused the actor of sexual misconduct, some of which allegedly occurred on the set of "Doctor Who," the series where Clarke rose to fame playing Mickey Smith from 2005 to 2010.
Clarke denied all allegations and sued the publication for libel, but he lost the case in August 2025.
