The United States men's national team will make another roster change, adding midfielder Jack McGlynn ahead of the upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches against Haiti. The move follows midfielder Gio Reyna’s thigh injury during Strasbourg’s Ligue 1 loss to Toulouse, which will sideline him ahead of camp.
Replacing Reyna is McGlynn, the Stoke City midfielder, who made a significant impact for the USMNT during the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup, featuring in all six matches of the tournament. Over the course of his 13 appearances for the senior national team, McGlynn has contributed two goals and two assists.
Reyna injury came after he netted Strasbourg’s only goal in the 67th minute of their 3-1 defeat on Nov. 6. Shortly after scoring, he signaled to
the bench that he was experiencing discomfort in his thigh and requested a substitution. After being subbed off, Reyna immediately made his way down the tunnel for evaluation by the medical staff.
No additional update has been provided on Reyna's injury.
The USMNT will face Haiti in the first leg of the quarterfinals on Saturday, November 14, at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. The squad will then travel to TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, for the second leg on Tuesday, November 17.
