After all the chaos that filled Week 1's plate of college football, how will Week 2's slate match up?
That largely remains to be seen, but with several Top 25 and rivalry matchups on deck, it's very possible there will be some drama and chaos in store.
The headliner for Week 2 is none other than No. 1 Ohio State vs. No. 3 Texas at 7:30 p.m. ET at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium, a 1-vs-3 matchup featuring three Heisman Trophy candidates — and future NFL prospects — in the Buckeyes' Jeremiah Smith and Julian Sayin and the Longhorns' Arch Manning.

The noon ET window is headlined by No. 10 Oklahoma's trip to No. 24 Michigan, a matchup that will have plenty of viewers keeping a close eye on the
clock — for reasons that should sound familiar, of course. The matchup is the return game of a home-and-home between the Big Ten and SEC programs, while Saturday's game could be highly important for Bryce Underwood's future as the Wolverines' starting quarterback.
Keelon Russell makes his first SEC road start in the 3:30 p.m. ET window when No. 12 Alabama heads to Lexington to take on Kentucky. Arizona and No. 15 BYU also kick off conference play in the same window, with Bear Bachmeier looking to build off a strong Week 1, when he threw three touchdown passes and just four incompletions.
Then there is another rendition of the Cy-Hawk Rivalry Series between No. 21 Iowa and Iowa State under the lights of Kinnick Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Hawkeyes are coming off a 40-0 shutout win over Northern Illinois in Week 1, while the Cyclones defeated SE Missouri in the first game of the Jimmy Rogers era in Ames.
Here's a look at the full top-25 schedule for Week 2 of the 2026 season, including times and how to watch information for each ranked team:
